Speaker Series on Sustainability in Healthcare – Certificate Program Available – March to May 2022 – Sign up form linked below!  

Climate change has profound implications for health and healthcare. But healthcare professional trainees often have little to no exposure to climate and sustainability topics during their training. This speaker series will introduce students to the impact of climate change on health and health equity, what this means for healthcare, and how we can advocate and promote a more resilient and sustainable health system in a low carbon world.

The speaker series consists of 6 sessions in total, each ~1hr in length. We have partnered with CASCADES and the Centre for Sustainable Health Systems to offer a certificate to students who attend a minimum of 4/6 sessions and write a brief reflection on their experience. You are welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you would like!
