VP Communications Candidate, Junu Choe
Hello Pharmily!
My name is Junu Choe, and I am excited to run for VP Communications within Pharmacy Undergraduate Society (PhUS) for the upcoming year 2025/2026.
Whether it is a slow paced pharmacy, or a super busy one, clear communication can be the difference between the right prescription and a medication error. The same can be said for the student life. If news within the pharmacy program is not being communicated effectively, opportunities are lost. As someone who values clear, effective communication, I want to make sure that all PHUS events, news and updates reach every pharmacy student.
So, why me? Well to begin, I have served as the PY1 rep, PY2 rep and alumni liaison within LKS where I regularly deliver relevant announcements to LKS members. Within PhUS, I have been part of the PHUS Finance and Sponsorship Committee during my first year, served as a mentor for mentorship program and volunteered as a GPA orientation leader, all of which are roles that require me to be an effective communicator.
Although these experiences were in smaller groups, I am confident that they, along with my commitment to helping every pharmacy student find meaningful opportunities in this program, can contribute nicely to PhUS.
