Overview of the Club
The UBC Pharmacy Yearbook Club was established over 40 years ago to capture highlights of pharmacy events. Throughout the years, we have been a passionate and vibrant group that goes around the building and take pictures to commemorate our time as pharmacy students.
Highlights or Club Initiatives
The Yearbook Club hosts a series of events throughout the year that benefit the student body and faculty:
- Yearbook Mugshots (students can either come to our photo booth to take their headshot or submit their own photo to be featured on our yearbook)
- Valentine’s Day Candygram (This is our annual event that benefits the entire pharmacy program socially because people can show their affection/love for each other by giving candygrams!)
- Photo Contests
- Faces of Pharmacy
Benefits of Being A Member
There are lots of ways to be involved in yearbook. You can be a photographer, graphic designer, or layout editor; or if you just want to join and make friends, Yearbook club is also the right place to go. We have various social events within the club.
How to Be a Member
To join Yearbook Club, simply contact one of our head execs on Facebook and we can add you to the group chat. It is a low commitment club. We host meetings every 2 to 3 weeks, and we will post the meeting minutes in the chat. If you have any questions, please reach out to one of us or email us at ubcrxyearbook@gmail.com.
