Hello, I’m Aman and I am currently a first-year student serving as one of your elected first-year representatives for the PHUS council. Through this role, I have learned quite a bit about the work and collaboration that goes into running a council that represents hundreds of students, and I want to take advantage of this experience and now serve you all as the new Vice President of Communications. My goal is to keep up with the streamlined announcements and website, and expand even further with the PHUS social media to help enrich the community aspect that so many of us have been lacking over the past year. My hope is to not only highlight and broadcast the events of our faculty, but also the people, as we all are the real rockstars. My previous experience working with software systems will be an asset in this role as I have become increasingly comfortable with websites and coding. Additionally, my past experiences as VP External and Director of Programming in various student clubs have prepared me to liaison between groups and maintain an overall organization for all club events. These experiences and more, make me an ideal candidate and I hope to continue to serve you as the VP Communication.
