We want to make sure this year’s GPA is fun, but also safe! We have ensured that our event complies with the UBC Campus Rules and the updated Public Health Orders. As of May 1, UBC is transitioning from COVID-19 Safety Plans to a Communicable Disease Preventative Framework to cover all UBC activities. Check it out here:
Measures that will be in place to ensure COVID-19 rules are followed:
- Non-medical masks will be provided at registration and use of masks will be strongly recommended when social distancing cannot be maintained
- All food will be individually packaged for each person
- Hand sanitizers will be provided and readily available at every activity station
- All stations will be sanitized after every team activity during the Amazing Race
