So, what is GPA?

GPA (Great Pharmacy Adventure) is a student-run welcoming event just for you, the UBC Pharmacy Class of 2024! GPA features a full-day of creative team-building activities and exciting adventures. You can 100% expect to make some memories that you will never forget. On Saturday & Sunday, September 5-6 2020, all first-year students will be welcomed to form small teams with a senior pharmacy student that will lead them through a journey of tasks and obstacles, seeking to complete the Great Pharmacy Adventure, all through Zoom!

How much does GPA cost?

  • Early Bird Price: $5 from July 1 to July 21
  • Regular Price: $7 from July 22 to August 10

What’s included?

Your tickets include a goodie bag containing a snazzy GPA T-shirt, an exam-approved water bottle, a phone cardholder, and an awesome two-day Zoom orientation with fantastic prizes and guaranteed fun times!

When will I be notified about my group leader?

All participants will receive an email with their group members’ names and their group leader’s information by September 1, 2020. Get ready and look forward to getting a message from your group leader prior the event and meet your peers!

I have a religious commitment on Sundays. Can I attend the afternoon portion only?

Of course! We are willing to accommodate anyone who is unable to attend the full event, but would still like to participate partially. Please email us at regarding what times you are able to join us, and indicate this request in your registration so we can best assist you!

Who should I contact if I cannot attend GPA anymore?

Please contact us at with your full name, student number, and an explanation of your absence before September 1, 2020.

If I change my mind, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, after submitting your registration, there will be no refunds issued by the GPA 2020 committee. We apologize for the inconvenience.
