Hello everyone!
My name is Jasmine Khan, and I’m excited to be running to represent the Class of 2030 during the 2026–2027 academic year.
Beginning the E2P PharmD program is an exciting milestone, but it also comes with new expectations, unfamiliar experiences, and plenty of questions. As we begin this journey together, I want to help create a class environment where everyone feels connected, supported, and comfortable speaking up. As your first-year representative, I would be someone who listens, communicates, and makes sure the perspectives of our class are heard.
My experience in pharmacy, hospitality, and student leadership has taught me the importance of being approachable, dependable, organized, and willing to advocate for others. As a recent graduate from the UBC Pharmaceutical Sciences Bachelor’s program, I hope to leverage my familiarity with our faculty and university community to help our class make the most of our first year.
If elected, I hope to strengthen the connection within our cohort and create opportunities for us to get to know one another outside the classroom and find ways for us to connect beyond our interest in pharmacy. I hope to build a stronger sense of community and advocate for the ideas and concerns that matter most to our class.
