Carl Silverio
Hey everyone! My name is Carl Silverio and I am a second year Pharmacy student running to be your next PhUS President. As the current PhUS Secretary, I have spent last summer working behind the scenes to help build a strong team to give you GPA 2025. Through this experience, I learned how to bring people together by recognizing their individual strengths and using them effectively toward a shared goal. Organizing GPA has taught me how to lead diverse teams, communicate clearly, and stay aligned under pressure. Throughout the year, I have been grateful for the opportunity to work closely with the current PhUS President and council. This gave me a clear understanding of the expectation and dedication required to sustain and grow what PhUS is today. I have seen firsthand how much work goes into creating meaningful events, advocating for students, and fostering a strong sense of community. I believe these experiences have prepared me to lead PhUS. I will actively represent student academic concerns by working closely with the Faculty and ensuring that your voices, feedback, and interests are communicated through the appropriate channels and meaningfully considered. At the same time, I aim to promote and support novel student initiatives by collaborating with Council to empower students to bring forward ideas that enhance well being, inclusion, and community within the pharmacy program.
