Hello my name is Sonali and I am running for one of the 4th year representative positions for the Pharmacy Undergraduate Society (PhUS) council. I have been actively involved with student organizations throughout my time in the pharmacy program. I was a first year General Council member where I was responsible for bringing concerns among first-year students to PhUS; the elected VP Social during the 2019-2020 academic year where I planned large-scale social events, such as Welcome Back BBQ, Gala, and Skits Night; and I have been a member of the Student Pipeline for the past three years. This past year, I was also one of the elected co-presidents for the professional pharmacy fraternity, Lambda Kappa Sigma. I worked diligently with LKS members and officers to transition our events to an online platform to ensure events were delivered to the same quality as in previous years. These experiences have allowed me to further develop my leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills and make me an ideal candidate for this role. My goal is to serve as a liaison between the Class of 2022 and PhUS to address student concerns and questions, and to ensure students are provided with the most up-to-date information pertaining to graduation and licensing.
