Sig: Read 1 book prn for fun & social connection & relaxation
The Rx Book Club meets biweekly to discuss an agreed upon book. This club is a great
opportunity to take a break from school, meet new friends over a shared interest across all year
levels and to (re)connect with a relaxing hobby!

• Take a book or leave a book at our Free Little Library

How to Be a Member

• Sign up on to join one of our genre groups (sign up happens once per semester)
• Join at any point! Meetings are drop in and everyone is welcome!

FAQs

• Which genres do you read?
  • We have all our members vote on their favourite genre and make the groups
    from there.
• Is it free to join?
  • Yes! We encourage our members to also source their books by borrowing from
    the library/friends and buying second hand when possible.
• Can I switch genre groups?
  • You are welcome to switch groups. Groups will change every semester!
• How many books do you read per term?
  • This is decided by the group but generally 1-2 books depending on the length.
• What if I miss a meeting?
  • We will miss you but you are still a part of the club!
• What if I am not at the agreed upon page number for the meeting?
  • You are welcome to come to the meeting as long as you don’t mind potential
    spoilers!
• Do you have executive positions?
  • Yes, Follow our social media hiring takes place in September for PY1 reps and
    end of semester 2 for all other positions.
