Hello PY3s!
My name is Haneen Kaddoura, and I would love the opportunity to be your PY3 Representative!
Let’s face it—pharmacy school can be very challenging and overwhelming at times. As your representative, I want to help make our final didactic year one that isn’t only about getting through exams and assignments, but also about feeling supported, staying connected, and making memories together along the way.
I believe my previous leadership, event planning, and peer-support experiences have prepared me well for this role. At SFU, I served as a Co-Director for the Health Sciences Peer Mentorship Program, where I helped provide resources to students, organize faculty-wide events, and bring the Health Sciences community together. I also served as President of the Canadian Liver Foundation SFU Club, where I organized engaging health-promotion events while developing strong skills in organization, communication, teamwork, and leadership. Through my experiences in peer tutoring and peer mentorship, I’ve also had many opportunities to support fellow students and connect them with helpful resources.
As your PY3 Representative, my focus will be on you and our class community. I genuinely love bringing people together, and my goal is to make PY3 feel more connected throughout the year. Whether that means organizing fun events, listening to your ideas and concerns, sharing helpful resources, or helping us finally secure that Skits Night win, I’ll put in the effort to make our last didactic year a memorable one.
