VP Academic Candidate, Rachel Jung
Hello everyone! My name is Rachel Jung and I am running to be the next VP Academic for the Pharmacy Undergraduate Society (PhUS) Council.
I absolutely loved being your AVP Academic and a Co-Chair of the Mental Health Task Force (MHTF) this past year! Through MHTF, I was able to bring exciting and fun events such as Bunny Therapy, Puppy Therapy and Tote Bag Paint Night!
Pharmacy school can be rough and very stressful and with your confidence, I would love to continue to support your 2025-2026 year with bridging your academic concerns and needs to the faculty. I have had the opportunity to be involved with the Pipeline and see changes made directly.
Next year, I would like to:
– Provide TLDRs of the Pipeline Concerns
– Continue to host the self care raffles for free gift cards!
– Push for wellness initiatives and continue to support the Mental Health Task Force team!
Overall, I love being involved within the school community and I hope to represent you all as VP Academic and empower your journey as future pharmacists!
